A Brotherhood of Teamsters ~Missouri Mules

• 1989

This portrait was painted for a family friend who on several occasions graciously welcomed my folks to his farm and spent most of the day giving my neice and nephew wagon rides and sharing his knowledge of draft animals. Seiler was a truck driver most of his life, a city driver like my Dad, but he was also a farmer who grew acres and acres of oats and other crops which he planted and tended with his teams of Missouri mules and Belgian draft horses.
