“Out to Pasture ~ Cattle and Allis Chalmers,” an original acrylic painting copyright by Susan Walton of S. A. Walton Studio Fine Art, Hudson, Florida

I have fond memories of my grandmother’s and parent’s Hereford cattle, so I decided to paint some cattle in a scene featuring our weathered old Allis Chalmers. The tractor, and cows, fit intmany stories I have yet to tell.

In composing the painting, needed a third element in the scene, and a cardinal fit the bill. I painted three versions of this, each with a different number of cattle. I hope you enjoy this pastoral artwork and other paintings on my site.
