This is based on the Sodus Point lighthouse, on Lake Ontario in New York where weather like this is probably not unusual. I did this as a gift to a neighbor and dear friend who was the organist at the Aripeka Baptist Church here in Florida, and a late-in-life self-taught fiddle player who along with a friend who learned with her, presented my ailing father with a recording of them playing their favorite Gospel tunes. She was originally from New York, and one of her favorite hymns involves a lighthouse. She has since passed, I miss her inspiring can-do attitude and long-suffering, quiet, Christlike endurance dearly.
